| Abstract |
Many provisions of this law (Act No. 6283, assented to on 30 Sep. 1958, commenced 1 Apr. 1959, modifications to 1987) have been repealed and replaced by other legislation, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act 1985 (see CIS 88-1751). It still covers the following matters: powers and duties of the Minister of Labour and Industry; confidentiality of records and trade secrets; submission of factory plans to the government; basic working conditions (fire prevention, sanitary defects, sleeping accommodation, washing of the interior of factories); powers of inspectors; penalties. |
