Abstract These 2 codes of practice (approved 11 Sep. 1989) were issued under the Queensland Workplace Health and Safety Act, 1989 (see CIS 90-1402). They provide for basic requirements of personal hygiene, dressing and dining facilities, lighting, floors and amount of working space, seating, drinking water, first-aid facilities and fire escapes in project amenities (construction sites) and in workplaces in general.
