Abstract These 10 regulations were issued under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1983 (see CIS 90-1407). The Regulations are on: Committees in Workplaces (1984); Asbestos Dust (1984) (defining excess asbestos dust as airborne asbestos fibres having a long-term average fibre concentration of 0.1f/mL of air for amosite or crocidolite and of 1f/mL of air for other kinds of asbestos); First Aid (1989) (prescribing minium first-aid facilities and personnel in workplaces); Inspectors' Notices and Penalty Notices (1988); Asbestos Removal Contractors (1988); Pest Control (1988); Confined Spaces (1990); Floors, Passageways and Stairs (1990); Notification of Accidents (1990); Manual Handling (1991).
