Abstract This document contains an annotated list of the Directives relating to health and safety which have been adopted by the EEC Council or are currently in the drafting or discussion stages, along with Commission proposals for legislation. The Directives are presented at 3 levels: those defining the responsibilities and rights of the parties concerned at company level and the obligations of Member States; Directives covering all risks to which workers are exposed; rules governing the design of work equipment and the classification and marketing of chemical substances and preparations.
