Abstract These regulations (effective 1979) were made pursuant to section 70 of the Workers' Compensation Act, R.S.B.C. 1979. The regulations outline requirements for: first-aid services, equipment, and supplies; industrial first-aid attendants; transportation to a hospital or physician; first-aid services for ship repair and stevedoring; oxygen therapy equipment; automatic mechanical ventilators; fire equipment for municipal fire fighters; certification of first-aid attendants and for survival first-aid training. In the schedules: classification of industries by first-aid requirements; obligatory contents of first-aid kits and supplies.
