Abstract This Regulation, as amended by Ontario Regulation 23/87, prescribes vinyl chloride as a designated substance. Exposure limits set for workplace air, TWA exposure - 2ppm by volume ( = 5.2mg/m3), maximum concentration at any time - 10ppm by volume ( = 26mg/m3). Other aspects covered: responsibilities of employers; control programmes; monitoring; medical supervision. Also included: schedule for calculating TWA exposures; code for respiratory equipment for vinyl chloride; code for measuring airborne vinyl chloride; code for medical surveillance.
