Abstract
These Regulations implement in part the provisions of Council Directive 80/836/Euratom, as amended by C.D. 84/467/Euratom (see CIS 85-90). They impose duties on employers to protect their employees and other persons against ionising radiation arising from exposure at the workplace. Contents: interpretation; dose limitation; regulation of work with ionising radiation; dosimetry and medical surveillance; arrangements for the control of radioactive substances; monitoring of ionising radiation; assessment of notifications; safety of articles and equipment. In the annex: dose limits; extensive table of ca. 700 radionuclides (with radiation quantities corresponding to notifications, controlled areas and assessment reports); designation of control areas; other matters.
