It includes a special chapter devoted to occupational safety and health, which covers: industrial health and safety standards; industrial protection during work in factories, on construction sites, in plants and with equipment; industrial safety regulations and instructions; industrial safety allocations; personal protective equipment; medical examination of certain categories of workers; transfer to lighter work; liability of undertakings or establishments for damage to workers' health; distribution of milk and special food to prevent disease; prohibition to operate factories not meeting industrial safety requirements.
