[inglés] Law establishing a general scheme for the compensation of all industrial accidents and occupational diseases. The basic compensation for total incapacity is 80% of the worker's pre-injury average earnings (within a prescribed range). An Accident Compensation Commission is set up to supervise compensation. A compensation fund is established, to be financed by contributions levied on employers. |
