| Abstract |
Full-text compilation of Chilean laws and regulations. Law No.16.744 (effective 1968) applies to occupational accidents and diseases in general (scope and coverage, administration, contributions and financing, benefits, evaluation of disability, prevention of occupational risks). The various decrees included (issued 1968-69) put into effect certain aspects of this law, and order the establishment of joint occupational safety and health committees in enterprises with more than 25 workers. Decree with force of Law No.2 (issued 1986) extends the benefits of the Law to self-employed workers, including farmers. |
