It regulates the hiring of industrial physicians and OSH specialists in private and public enterprises. This publication demonstrates the effects the employment of these specialists had on the improvement of working conditions. Contents: Conditions of employment and duties of industrial physicians and OSH specialists, hours of work as a function of the number of employees, professional independence, collaboration with management and employee organisations, collaboration between industrial physicians and safety specialists, safety committees, intervention by government, exemptions, interplant services, responsibilities.
