The basic course shall be 32h long; shorter courses may be provided to certain non-production personnel. Most workers should be assigned to a course within 8 weeks after joining a safety circle; earlier or later assignments are provided for certain job categories. The director of the Labour Inspectorate can grant variances in response to justified requests. Paragraphs are also devoted to the filing of complaints and the penalties for infractions of the law.
