| Abstract |
This notification (entry into force: 6 Oct. 1983) refers to the law on the working environment of 23 Dec. 1975, which requires employers to provide safety training to members of safety committees and safety circles, and empowers the director of the Labour Inspectorate to determine the content and presentation of the training. The basic course shall be 32h long; shorter courses may be provided to certain non-production personnel. Most workers should be assigned to a course within 8 weeks after joining a safety circle; earlier or later assignments are provided for certain job categories. The director of the Labour Inspectorate can grant variances in response to justified requests. Paragraphs are also devoted to the filing of complaints and the penalties for infractions of the law. |
