Abstract This loose-leaf file contains the text of, and detailed commentary on, the West German Act of 1973 on occupational physicians, safety engineers and other safety specialists (CIS 74-1166), and other national provisions concerning occupational safety and health. Supplements 19 and 20 update the collection to Dec. 1982. The commentary on the Act of 1973 has been revised (confidentiality and civil liability of physicians and engineers), and the texts of several new regulations have been added; preventive medical examinations, minimum length of employment of occupational physicians and safety officers, identification and declaration of hazardous industrial substances, surface treatment of premises and storage tanks, specific characteristics of the hazard presented by chemical substances and preparations, and medical and health services.
