Instructions issued by the Chief Hygienist of the Czech Socialist Republic to supplement Directives No.46: regulations for industrial hygiene conditions in the working environment, section IV "maximum allowable concentrations of harmful substances in workplace air" (CIS 80-2070). Contents: required data for determining or revising maximum allowable concentrations; air sampling and evaluation of hazards due to the presence of chemical substances and dust in workplace air (definitions, scope, analysis methods, sampling plan, sampling procedures and sampling time, protocol, principles of evaluation); modification of maximum allowable concentrations of noxae in workplace atmosphere in the following cases: shift exceeding 8h, potentiation by simultaneous action of several noxae, arduous physical effort of exposed person. |
