Abstract These directives (effective 1 Oct. 1978) apply to workplaces in industry, warehousing, agriculture, and services ancillary to industry. Contents: siting and layout of premises, dimensions of areas to which OSH requirements apply, design and layout of workshops, dimensions of premises, building construction, lighting and colours, location of machines and installations, maximum allowable concentrations of harmful substances in workplace air, ventilation and heating, microclimate, sanitary facilities, windowless premises, water supply and drainage of waste water.
