Abstract Commentary on Order of the Council of Ministers No.47/1979 (effective 1 Jan. 1980) concerning occupational safety and health, which repeals previous legislation on the subject. This booklet, which is intended for government officials, management, trade unionists, employees and all those who play a part in the enforcement, interpretation and observance of the Order, outlines its basic requirements. The Order is accompanied by regulations for its detailed application. Further rules for its enforcement are to be adopted by economic organisations, and its booklet gives detailed directives for the establishment of plant safety rules to give effect to the principles laid down by the Order and regulations.
