Abstract These directives (effective 1 Oct. 1978) apply to industrial premises and agricultural buildings, warehouses, storage premises, and buildings used for industrial services. Contents: location and layout of buildings; equipment layout; TLVs for harmful substances; ventilation and heating; microclimate in covered workplaces; workers' welfare; windowless premises; water supply, drains. Appended: tables of TLVs of toxic gases, vapours and aerosols, and non-toxic aerosols; summer and winter globe temperature values and air renewal rates in kitchens, canteens, washrooms, etc; values, units and symbols used for microclimate measurement; determination of microclimate conditions in workplaces; equipment for changing rooms, washrooms and showers according to type of work.
