| Abstract |
This standard provides guidance on compliance with maximum admissible concentrations of non-toxic dust or aerosols having a predominantly fibrogenic effect. Definitions are followed by general requirements for in-plant dust control, work rooms, equipment and processes, ventilation, housekeeping and personal protective equipment. Special requirements relate to: comminution and preparation; transport; packing and storage of dust-producing materials; processing of refractory and coarse ceramic materials; grinding and polishing; abrasive blasting equipment, production of natural and artificial stones, ceramic industry, foundries, underground mine workings. |
