Part 2 (safety in quarries): safe distances from and fencing of quarry edges; soil compacting; open face stone and mineral quarries; underground quarries. Part 3 (occupational health provisions): hygiene; measures against heat stress and dehydration; pre-employment medical examination; dust control; personal protective equipment; notification of accidents; penalties.
