Abstract The amendments introduced by this Ordinance (entry into force: 1 Jan. 1977) concern certain formalities and conditions for the notification of occupational diseases; they chiefly modify the list of statutory occupational diseases, recognised in the Fed.Rep. of Germany. The classification of these diseases has been altered and systematised, and the following diseases added: circulatory disorders of the hands due to vibration; pleural and peritoneal mesothelioma due to asbestos; respiratory disorders due to cotton or flax dust (byssinosis).
