| Abstract |
These safety regulations are designed for those employers who are to appoint safety engineers or other occupational safety specialists; they define the qualifications the latter must satisfy. The main part of the booklet consists of tables from the various Mutual Accident Insurance Associations, indicating the minimum duration of employment of safety specialists according to the type of undertaking and the size of the staff. A special version of the regulations has been produced by the Seamen's Mutual Accident Insurance Association: printed as an appendix, it also contains provisions concerning works physicians. The text of the Act on works physicians, safety engineers and other occupational safety specialists, 1973, is also appended, and a supplement contains commentaries and examples of calculations of their length of employment. |
