Abstract These directives, dated 27 June 1974, with entry into force on 1 Oct. 1974, apply to benzene and substances or preparations containing more than 1% of benzene mixed with other substances. They repeal and replace the provisions of the directives published in Hygienické předpisy, 1962, No.28 in so far as they concern the use of benzene and preparations containing benzene. Contents: general provisions; restrictions on use and sale of benzene; precautions to be observed in using or handling benzene; labelling; statutory declaration.
