The hazard rating of an installation is considered from the point of view of location, cooling system, and refrigerant type and level. Safety requirements deal with: dimensions, leak tightness, pressure vessels, piping, measurement and control instruments, safety devices, machine rooms, ventilator, etc. Other provisions cover staff qualifications, maintenance and repair.
