Abstract These regulations abrogate and replace the regulations issued on 28 July 1971 (order in Council No.2701). They deal with: special occurrences; scaling; guarding of excavations; bins and hoppers; buildings; personal protective equipment; noise; aid to injured; saniation; protection against dangerous substances; fire protection; ventilation and dust control; haulage; protection from machinery; travelling cranes; conveyor belts; steam and compressed air; hoists and hoisting; care and use of explosives and blasting agents; underground operations; examination of mine working and shaft inspection; supply and use of electricity; etc.
