Individual sections are devoted to: preliminary provisions; definitions; administration; construction safety (duties of constructors, sub-contractors, employers and workmen, prevention of accidents, notifiable work, investigation of accidents, certificates of competency, safety officers and bodies); regulation-making power; and miscellaneous provisions. (Repeals inter alia the Inspection of Scaffolding Act 1915, as amended (see CIS 64-844)). |
