Abstract These regulations were issued under the authority of the 1996 Act concerning safety and health at work (see CIS 98-5). They provide for protection against carcinogenic and mutagenic substances and processes in the workplace. Contents: general provisions; obligations of employers. In annex: list of substances, preparations and processes; occupational exposure limits (benzene: 3.25mg/m3 = 1ppm; vinyl chloride monomer: 7.77mg/m3 = 3ppm; hard-wood dust: 5mg/m3); components of a medical monitoring programme by the employers.
