Book III of the Code concerns the compensation of occupational accidents and diseases. Provision is made for the notification of occupational accidents and diseases, and for the keeping of statistics based on such notifications. There is also provision for the financing of preventive activities and for the formation of technical committees in the workplace aimed at the prevention of accidents and diseases.
