Time Bound Programme - Urban Informal Economy (TBP-UIE) project summary (In English and Bengali)

The UIE project is one of the ILO-supported projects to the national Time Bound Program (TBP). The TBP was developed following the ratification of ILO Convention No. 182 on the Elimination of the WFCL by the Government of Bangladesh in 2001. The TBP sets the target for the elimination of all worst forms of child labour by 2015. The UIE project is funded by the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, commenced in January 2007 and its first phase will be completed in December 2011.
