Towards a safer RMG sector for Bangladesh

As labour inspectors, Farzana Islam and her colleagues are on the front line to ensure the safety and rights of over four million ready-made garment workers in Bangladesh. ILO supports capacity building of the labour inspectorate through a programme funded by Canada, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom to help it more effectively carry out its regulatory oversight role.
