The Improvement of labour relations and the promotion of women’s economic equality in Colombia

The project is based on the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States Department of Labour (USDOL) and the Colombian government signed on January 7, 2001. Along with other components, it is part of a general technical cooperation program approved by the ILO Governing Body in June of the same year, aimed at contributing to the development of fundamental rights and to the consolidation of social and labour peace process in Colombia.
