Launching the sub policy and national action plan on return and reintegration of migrant workers Sri Lanka

The policy development process has been facilitated through the ILOs Labour Migration Project, now in its Phase II, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).

The Ministry of Foreign Employment, under the technical guidance of International Labour Office (ILO Country Office for Sri Lanka and the Maldives) will be launching the Sub policy and National Action Plan on Return and Reintegration of Migrant Workers Sri Lanka on the 10th of December 2015 (Thursday) from 3.30pm - 5.30pm at Lotus, Renuka Hotel, Colombo 03.

The policy development process has been facilitated through the ILOs Labour Migration Project, now in its Phase II, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).

The Chief Guest at the event will be Hon. Thalatha Athukorale, Minister of Foreign Employment.

Participants are expected from a wide range of stakeholders including sectoral Ministries, officials from the labour migration sector, members of the National Advisory Committee on Labour Migration, representatives of UN agencies and members from Civil society, community representatives and members of print and electronic media.
