"Ukraine without forced labour" – initiative of the Confederation of Employers of Ukraine

In December 2022, the Confederation of Employers of Ukraine presented the “Ukraine without forced labour” initiative and relevant Guidelines for employers.

In this way, Ukrainian employers seek to prevent the use of forced labour by private business – the risks of which have increased significantly due to the millions of internally displaced persons and forced migrants, mainly women with children, fleeing the war in Ukraine. The initiative will also promote the principles of responsible business conduct based on European and worldwide practices.

  1. Guiding Principles for Ukrainian Employers on Prevention of Forced Labour

The Guiding Principles are aimed at equipping employers with knowledge of how to prevent the use of forced labour in the everyday operations of their companies.
