102nd International Labour Conference

Irish Presidency, European Commission and Benelux countries actively contributed to the ILC

The Irish Presidency of the EU Council presented the EU positions within the 102nd International Labour Conference (ILC) and actively participated in the outcomes of it. EU Commissioner László Andor addressed the Conference, stressing that young people are paying a “far too high price for a situation they did not create”.

Commissioner Andor added that he was grateful for the ILO cooperation on youth guarantee schemes. Benelux labour ministers, Monica De Coninck (BE), Lodewijk Asscher (NL) and Nicolas Schmit (LUX) also addressed the ILC plenary session.
