ILO Director-General Guy Ryder tells Euronews Now that the rapid growth of digital labour platforms have contributed positively to thousands of workers around the world, but that they raise enormous challenges on minimum levels of pay, social security, sick leave, occupational safety and health, and more. He calls for an international dialogue to set minimum standards and ensuring a fair level-playing field for these platforms and their workers.
