Mapping and assessment of Business Development Service providers in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq
This document presents an assessment of existing BDS providers in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. It analyses the types of services, their geographic coverage, target clients, and service quality. It analyses organisations’ capacities to provide their services in terms of available infrastructure, human and financial resources.
Through these efforts, the ILO intends to better understand the overall situation and market of business development service (BDS) providers in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and ultimately inform the ILO and other development organizations of existing challenges that need to be addressed to facilitate BDS providers’ role in supporting micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) creation and growth.
