Wage protection and minimum wage in Qatar

Earning a decent wage is the primary concern for most migrant workers in Qatar. The joint programme of the ILO and the Ministry of Labour seeks to promote wage policy by supporting the adoption of a non-discriminatory minimum wage, and to protect workers’ wages by strengthening of the Wage Protection System, among other means.
