State of Qatar, Sweden and International Labour Organization to cooperate on labour issues
MoU to see collaboration in occupational health and safety at work and corporate social responsibility
The government of the State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (ADLSA), the Kingdom of Sweden and the International Labour Organization (ILO) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cooperate on a number of labour-related areas.
The agreement was signed in Doha today (9 January 2020) by His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Hassan Al-Obaidli, Assistant Undersecretary for Labour Affairs, His Excellency Mr. Anders Bengtcen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden, and Mr. Houtan Homayounpour, Head of the International Labour Organization Project Office for the State of Qatar.
Cooperation will take place in the fields of occupational health and safety at work and corporate social responsibility with a focus on institutional collaboration and the exchange of expertise.
