The agricultural sector has the potential for growth and job creation for Jordanian and non-Jordanian workers, yet finding employment without having the right networks is difficult. A new initiative by the ILO under PROSPECTS, is supporting cooperatives to expand their role and provide career guidance and job placement services to workers in the sector. Known as 'Agriculture Guidance and Employment Units', the services also link workers with training opportunities.
