Employers' guide on promoting equal opportunity and treatment and preventing discrimination at work in China

This Guide is issued together with a Code of Practice for employers on promoting equal opportunity and treatment and preventing discrimination at work. It is issued by the China Enteprise Confederation (CEC) in cooperation with the International Labour Office (ILO) to give CEC member companies practical guidance on how to take measures to promote equal opportunity and treatment and elimate discrimination in their company policies and practices.

The Guide has three parts. Part I establishes a business case for equality. Part II gives practical guidance on what equality and non-discrimination mean, and how to ensure theat company recruitement and employment practices are free from discrimination. Part III gives practical guidance on how to manage equality in the workplace.
