In the context of the ILO project on Promoting Formal Employment for Inclusive and Diversified Economic Growth in Mongolia (MNG/18/01/RBS), MLSP is developing the next national OSH strategy for 2021-2025. The ILO consultants are providing technical assistance to MLSP and a tripartite working group in their elaboration and engagement.

This workshop aims at discussing the first draft of the strategy with key stakeholders. Discussions will be organized around the following topics:

• Principles of the National OSH Strategy
• Strategic and specific objectives of the National OSH Strategy
• Implementing mechanism of the National OSH Strategy and Monitoring

25 participants from MLSP, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development, the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry, the Ministry of Road and Transport Development, the Ministry of Energy, the General Agency for Specialized Inspection, the Occupational Safety and Health Center, the General Authority for Social Insurance, the Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions and the Mongolian Employers' Federation will attend the workshop.
