The ILO publishes a wide range of books, reports, working papers, training manuals, CD-ROMs, videos and flash movies, relevant to Asia and the Pacific. Some of these can be downloaded directly. Others can be requested or purchased in hard copy from the ILO Knowledge Centre in Bangkok.

It is a data driven publication, based on the analysis of the Census 2008 data and other primary data, along with data from the line ministries. It responds to the need for up to date labour market information and trends – on both quantitative and qualitative aspects of Decent Work –and the emerging policy implications. A detailed statistical annex is attached.

    This policy paper covers the key issues and the policy challenges confronting Cambodia in managing cross-border movement of labour and in protection of Khmer migrant workers. The paper examines the medium-term employment and demographic outlook in Cambodia, looking at the migration pressure and the opportunities rendered from labour migration. The policy challenges are grouped into the governance of labour migration, the protection and empowerment of migrant workers, and the harnessing of labour migration for economic development.
