Gender issues in micro and small enterprises in Lao PDR

This report is the outcome of a gender study on micro and small entrepreneurs in Lao PDR jointly undertaken by the ILO and the Gender Research and Information Development Centre of the Lao Women’s Union. The research findings highlight the experiences and issues concerning these entrepreneurs from a gender perspective. The report provides recommendations for the promotion of gender equality in enterprise development both for policy makers and development agencies.
