Promoting good labour market governance in the Pacific through labour law reform, implementation of core and governance International Labour Standards and capacity building of tripartite constituents

The development objective of this project is for labour legislation and policy at a national and regional level, to promote good labour market governance and effectively implement Core and Governance International Labour Standards.

The immediate objectives of the project are: i) Updated labour law effectively implements Core and Governance ILS; and ii) National expertise in comprehending and implementing labour law and Core and Governance ILS is built, within labour administrations and, where they exist, tripartite institutions, workers’ and employers’ organisations.
