Asia-Pacific regional tripartite meeting on developing skills and improving training in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand

This meeting brought together constituents from the Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) and the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) to discuss key issues on skills standards and recognition systems and explore appropriate forms of the collaboration among IMT-GT and GMS countries to facilitate mobility of skilled workers in these countries. It was also aimed at improving the quality and effectiveness of training systems in these countries. The meeting was hosted by Songkhla Province in Thailand and supported by the Department of Skills Development and Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency (TICA).
