The Philippine government, workers groups and employers groups have collaborated together with non-government organizations, faith-based institutions, local and overseas domestic workers groups as they embark on the Philippine Campaign on Decent Work for Domestic Workers.

Type: Campaign
When: 3 May - 21 August 2009
Where: Philippines
Download: English [pdf 71KB]
The Philippine campaign is envisioned to serve as the primary vehicle to generate massive public support in the advocacy to extend decent work to domestic workers. A technical working group is convened to lead and coordinate social mobilization, campaigns, and knowledge-based advocacy. The campaign has two (2) major objectives; to come up with unified Philippine position on the international labour instrument for domestic workers during the International Labour Conference 2010 and the immediate passage of a national law for the sector.
