The training aims to enhance the capacity of the participants to be able to effectively and efficiently perform their duty to combat labour trafficking. In particular, it has the following objectives (as per the training curriculum accompanying the operational guidelines):

1. Participants will learn and understand issues of human trafficking particularly for labour exploitation from policy and strategies, to implementation to prevent, protect and combat labour trafficking
2. Participants will be provided with information on labour laws, human trafficking laws and other legislation related to labour protection and human trafficking for labour purposes
3. Participants will learn and understand about existing Memorandums of Understanding and the Operational Guidelines
4. Participants will learn international standards and practices related to human trafficking for labour purposes
5. Participants will be able to build networks of multidisciplinary personnel and media to response to human trafficking for labour purposes
