ILO's Director-General meets the Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra

Director-General of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Guy Ryder met the Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra at Government House on 14 December 2012.

Director-General of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Guy Ryder met the Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra at Government House on 14 December 2012. The Prime Minister thanked the Director-General for the ILO’s support in promoting decent work in Thailand. The ILO’s Director-General reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to continuing technical cooperation in Thailand. They also discussed the ratification of the ILO Conventions concerning Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining which are currently before the Thai parliament. The Director-General also conveyed his belated birthday wishes to H.M. the King.
