A total of 50 participants, including job seekers and returned migrants joined respectively training course on carpentry and tailoring. Department of Skill Development and Employment of MoLSW, Champasak Province Skills Development Center piloted standard training manual in both courses. As a public-private partnership initiative, these programmes invited garment and furniture factories to the Programmes for potential employment and apprenticeship opportunities for trainees.

Champasak Skill Development Center also provided the certification for each trainee after they successfully completed their training course.
