Webinar on Labour Market Information System was held, in collaboration with Department of Skills Development and Employment, Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, Lao PDR

The ILO/China Partnership Programme, Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare (MOLSW) of Lao People Democratic Republic jointly organized a webinar on Labour Market Information System in Lao PDR on 23 June 2021 via virtual Zoom Meeting.

Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare (MOLSW) of Lao People Democratic Republic and the ILO/China Partnership Programme, jointly organized an on-line workshop on Labour Market Information System on 23 June 2021.

A total 23 representatives (11 females) from MOLSW, private sector companies, representatives from ILO in Vientiane office, specialist of employment of ILO and ILO Country Office for Thailand, Cambodia and Lao PDR were represented at the meeting.
The objective of the meeting is to exchange knowledge between MOLSW, employment specialist, IT specialists current Labour Market Information System (LMIS) structure and IT solution for LMIS in Lao PDR. Participants highlighted the needs of easy access to employment services and Virtual Job Fair under the LMIS framework.
